Use (Doppler Hunter) |
1) Homemade
5-element, 2-meter beam.
2) 0-60db attenuator.
3) Standard C568A handheld for close-in sniffing (with a paper-clip or
without antenna).
4) AAA paper maps and a drafting table.
5) Garmin StreetPilot ColorMap for GPS mapping.
6) AHHA, Microfinder-1 and 2, Dopplers.

radio.
8) Icom IC2100 Modified Doppler Receiver.
9) Kenwood 741 Tri-Band mobile radio.
10) Laptop computer running Delorme TOPO maps.
11) Interferometer with Magnetic compass used to read true north.
12) Uniden scanner to monitor repeaters.
13) 4-Element Doppler antenna. (Henry's Doppler only talks to 4-element
arrays).
14) Sniffer MK4 VK3YNG (Receiver, auto attenuator and tone signal strength).NOT USED MUCH or REPLACED.
14) Spectrum Analyzer (Don't use it much any more, too big).
15) Yaesu FT-11R for close-in sniffing.
16) Radio Shack HT202 for intermod locations.
17) Radio Shack PRO-57 scanner for Doppler. (Replaced by IC-2100).
18) Radio Shack PRO-57 scanner modified with 'S' meter and attenuator.
(Replace by IC-2100).

22) TDOA homemade. (Don't use much any more).
23) Frequency Counter. (Don't use much any more).
24) 8-Element Doppler antenna. (Don't use any more little difference to
6-element array).
25) 6-Element Doppler antenna. (Don't use after starting to use Henry's
Doppler).
PLANNING TO USE:
