| 1) Two Sniffer MK4 VK3YNG. (One for the homemade beam and the other as a U-R-Here
receiver). 2) Tape measure beam. (Homemade). 3) Magnetic Compass. Bob is the first Hunter to show us the VK3YNG MK4 can do it all. Bob was able to get a bearing on me (Nov.30,2002), 85 miles away with his MK4-Sniffer and a Tape Measure Beam. He then tracked me me down in the mountains with his MK4-Sniffer U-R-Here unit and came in 2nd place. Good job. |
