My
initial bearing of 330* was pretty close considering I had "0"-signal
strength with a 4-element beam.The MK4-Sniffer
was used as my initial bearing receiver, as well as my U-R-Here radio.
What makes this unit great is it's built-in radio receiver, automatic RF
(radio frequency) attenuator and it's audible-tone signal strength
meter.
The AHHA Microfinder Doppler worked flawlessly, to
find the hidden Fox transmitter at Oyster Bay Regional Shore Line Park.
The MK4-Sniffer was used again, with a smaller
3-element beam, to locate the 'Park' hidden transmitter.
