Rich Harrington - KN6FW, intended to create a challenge Fremont hunt by hiding the fox transmitter out side the normal Fremont boundaries and beaming the signal towards San Francisco.

The true initial bearing from the Fremont Start Point to the fox was 19*. My initial bearing was 70*, probably a reflection off of Mount Allison. This didn't really affect my route to Pleasanton, since there is only one way into the valley.

My Doppler kept pointing north so I took a second bearing, after crossing the Sunol Grade. This bearing of 10 degrees, verified my Doppler, so I corrected my course and headed towards Morgan Territory Road.

Notice the first four winning teams above. They all followed the leader, Henry-KF6PCE, with identical arrival times and close mileage.
